Dr. Obioha Oti is a visionary leader with deep expertise spanning banking, fintech, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and enterprise development across Africa.
Dr. Obioha Oti is an Enterprise Transformation Strategist, Business Builder, Financial Inclusion Leader, and Founder of Experience To Enterprise Hub (EEH™), a pioneering platform dedicated to helping experienced professionals convert their knowledge, expertise, relationships, and career experience into sustainable enterprises, advisory practices, and wealth-creating ventures.
With a multidisciplinary career spanning banking, fintech, entrepreneurship, consulting, executive development, and ecosystem building, Dr. Oti has established himself as a leading advocate of the philosophy that “Experience Is Capital™” and that professional experience can be transformed into enterprise ownership, economic value, and lasting impact.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of Upswing Consulting And Training Limited, where he works with organizations, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and business leaders on enterprise development, growth strategy, leadership, business transformation, financial inclusion, and market expansion initiatives.
Dr. Oti currently serves as the National President of the Association of Mobile Money and Bank Agents in Nigeria (AMMBAN), the umbrella body representing agency banking and mobile money operators across Nigeria. In this capacity, he champions financial inclusion, digital financial services, agent banking development, and entrepreneurship across underserved communities.
He is also an Executive Director of 1App Technologies Limited, a fintech company driving innovation in digital payments and financial technology solutions. In addition, he serves as a Board Member of Medlitics Inc., a health technology company, and as Strategic Advisor to Analytiq Global, an international technology company with headquarters in London.
Prior to entrepreneurship, Dr. Oti built a successful career in banking and financial services, spending over a decade with First Bank of Nigeria and other financial institutions, where he gained extensive experience in banking operations, business development, sales, leadership, customer acquisition, financial services delivery, and enterprise growth.
Over the years, he has founded, advised, supported, and collaborated with numerous businesses, startups, fintech ventures, financial inclusion initiatives, and professional development programmes. His work focuses on helping individuals and organizations move beyond traditional employment thinking toward enterprise ownership, value creation, scalability, and long-term sustainability.

Dr. Oti is a writer, speaker, mentor, entrepreneur, and board advisor. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering Management, a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), and an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LL.D). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-Nigeria) and a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), CIFCON, and other professional associations.
